NEWPORT COAST PARK aka COASTAL CANYON PARK

This park is a private facility, owned and maintained by the residents of the Newport Coast Master Association (HOA). It is not a public facility. It is available for use only by those residents.

Here are some of the park's features:

-- A swim center that includes a 6-lane junior-Olympic swimming pool, spa, and a children's wading pool.

-- Separate buildings for pool equipment, bathroom and shower facilities, and community uses.

-- An approximately 2400 square foot community building providing restrooms, office space, and two storage areas.

-- Amenities include full kitchen facilities (oven, stove, refrigerator), portable tables and chairs for up to 75 people, and an intimate inglenook area for smaller informal gatherings on a window seat surrounding an authentic fireplace.

-- The community center opens to a 1500 square foot terrace with built-in barbeque and bench seating areas arranged around a central courtyard fountain within view of the pool.

-- A smaller terrace provides a separate space for three or four outdoor tables with chairs.

-- Parking for the swim center includes 63 standard parking spaces and four handicap spaces.

-- The tennis area includes three lighted courts (restricted during evening hours), a themed tot-lot, a restroom building, and a multi-use turf area and playing field. Fencing with keyed access is provided around the perimeter of the playing field. Parking is provided in a 24-space parking lot that includes two handicap spaces.
